Autumn / Winter 23/24
Inspired by the music of great singer-songwriters and their iconic stage outfits, the new Lena Hoschek collection, aptly named "Jolene" for Autumn/Winter 23/24, takes you into a world where country, blues, alternative, rock 'n' roll and folk set the tone.
With "Jolene", Lena Hoschek not only expresses her passion for music, she also dedicates the designs to the New Bohemian and cowboy feeling that characterises the genres. The collection transports the relaxed sex appeal and free spirit of artists like Nikki Lane, Jenny Lewis, Sierra Ferrell, Lana Del Rey and Dan Auerbach - artists of today who still echo the great Dolly Parton and Wanda Jackson in their interpretations.
Tough plaid meets rock fringe details, denim and bandana prints give the collection "edge". Following in the footsteps of Brokeback Mountain, earthy flannel blouses and prairie-inspired shirtdresses are created. A conscious homage to the strong symbolic power of the denim shirt, which embodies the wonderful love between two cowboys. Romantic boho looks that combine femininity and roughness also find their due appearance in the collection.
"Jolene" exudes a rebellious sense of adventure and a romantic Wild West aesthetic at the same time with its bold colour palette - from rich reds to warm mocha to paisley in classic black and white. Flowing boho dresses are easy to style with a leather jacket and vintage accessories, intricate embroidery enhances blouses and skirts, turning looks into distinctive eye-catchers with a touch of luxury. Fringe details that sway in time with the movement add dynamism and glamour to the outfits and reflect the lively personality of artists on stage.
Lena Hoschek makes a statement with the new AW23/24 collection - a statement for all women who boldly celebrate their own style and want to underline their authenticity and down-to-earthness. Timeless looks that will not lose any of their strong charisma over the years and are an expression of not being restricted by conventions.
