Lena Hoschek's Limited Men's Shirts

Finally, men can also experience the joy of wearing a piece of Lena Hoschek clothing. In cooperation with Viennese bespoke shirtmakers, Gino Venturini, the designer released her first limited edition of men’s shirts in November 2016, paving the way for more limited collections, available at regular intervals in Lena Hoschek stores and online.

Male fashion icons of the 1950s and 70s, as well as the men she knows and loves, provided the inspiration for Lena Hoschek’s shirt designs.

The long-sleeved “Costello” shirt and the short-sleeved style “Dean” are made from selected cotton fabrics sourced from the USA. These unconventional textiles feature patterns from the late 19th century in rich earthy shades and indigo tones. A stand-up collar style, "Brando", is also available.

I’m always fascinated by style-conscious men and their unique personal style. I wanted to design a range of shirts completely unlike the ones you can find on any old street corner.” (Lena Hoschek)

The men’s shirt collection for Autumn/Winter 18-19 features all-over flower prints in an earthy colour palette of dark forest green and deep indigo shades, as well as two styles with maritime stripes. The colour-coordinated buttons that adorn these eye-catching patterned shirts are made from horn or coconut shell.

The packaging, too, reveals Lena Hoschek’s inimitable love of detail. Every shirt is numbered and comes with a specially designed tag, lovingly packed in a heavyweight printed cardboard box.
