“Fresco” – this is Lena Hoschek’s spring/summer 24 collection and a tribute to the faded frescoes in Italy’s magnificent palazzi.

For “Fresco”, Lena was inspired by true treasures of art history, the magnificent Italian wall paintings that experienced their heyday during the Renaissance. Lena has created a collection that reflects the unique aesthetics and complexity of frescoes as well as the beauty of the Italian landscape and the elegance of Mediterranean villas.

“Italian frescoes are a testament to the artistic brilliance and cultural significance of Italy and have always inspired the art world with their rich detail and profound symbolism.”

– Lena Hoschek –

The colour palette is characterised by the warm, earthy tones of Tuscany: sunny gold, strong honey yellow and flattering terracotta look like the sight of a field just before the harvest, while the vibrant aqua tones reflect the countless shades of blue of the sea. Romantic floral fabrics complement the collection’s world of colour with passionately blooming patterns, while elaborate embroidery adorns the dresses and lends them a touch of luxury.

The cuts of the dresses are feminine and relaxedly elegant at the same time. The designer remains true to her classic silhouettes and effortlessly complements them with the Italian attitude to life of “dolce far niente”.

The result is flowing dresses with flared skirts, narrow waists and plunging necklines that perfectly emphasise the female figure.

The fabrics are light and airy – from delicate, lightweight cottons to linen and raffia – perfect for a hot summer and a holiday in the land where the lemons bloom.
